352-789-0363We don't just pull weeds — we fix the joint problem so they stay gone. Here's how.
We remove existing weeds, moss, and debris from the joints. Then we deep-clean the entire surface so the new sand bonds properly.
We fill every joint with polymeric sand that hardens after activation. This creates a solid barrier that weeds can't penetrate.
We apply a protective seal over the entire surface. This locks the sand in place, blocks moisture from weakening the joints, and keeps weed seeds from finding a foothold.
500+ projects completed across Marion County. Here's what our weed control work looks like.
Moss and weeds had overtaken the joints of this driveway in Ocala. The pavers themselves were still in good shape — the joints were the problem.
After joint sanding and sealing, this patio in Belleview has stayed weed-free. The owner hasn't pulled a single weed in two seasons.
"I was out there every weekend pulling weeds between my pavers. Since S&S came out and did the sanding and sealing, I haven't seen a single weed. That was over a year ago. Best money I've spent on this house."

Get answers to common questions about paver weed control and joint stabilization.
Weeds come back because the joint sand between your pavers has eroded away, leaving open gaps. Wind-blown seeds settle into those gaps, and Florida's rain and sun do the rest. Pulling the weeds doesn't fix the gap. The only permanent fix is to refill the joints with polymeric sand and seal the surface — that eliminates both the space for weeds to root and the moisture they need to germinate.
Our polymeric sand installation and sealing process stops weeds from growing up through the joints — that's what the sand and seal are engineered to do. Seeds can still land on top of the surface and germinate in surface debris, but they won't be able to root into the joint. With basic sweeping and occasional rinsing, most homeowners see zero weed regrowth for years.
Most residential weed control and joint stabilization jobs are done in 1 to 3 days. Day one is cleaning and weed removal. Day two is sanding the joints. Day three is sealing, if you want the full protection package. We can often complete smaller patios and walkways in a single day.
Sanding alone will block weed growth through the joints. But without sealing, Florida's heavy rains will eventually wash the sand out and reopen the gaps. Sealing locks the sand in place and creates a water-resistant barrier that keeps the joints intact far longer. We recommend both for lasting results, but we'll sand without sealing if that's what you need.
Yes. Our approach to weed control is mechanical, not chemical. We remove weeds physically from the joints and then install polymeric sand to prevent regrowth. The sealants we use are water-based and cure inert — once dry, they're safe for pets, kids, and surrounding landscaping. We don't rely on herbicides as our primary solution.
